“The Red Mile. Game 6 against Tampa. We lost the Cup that night but I honestly don't remember being sad. The whole playoff run was the most alive Calgary has ever felt. I watched the final period from the concourse because I couldn't sit still. When it ended, strangers were hugging in the hallways. A guy I'd never met bought me a beer and said "we'll get em next year." We never did.”
